Samson Genya is a successful software engineer and serial entrepreneur who for the past 15 years, has helped co-found, build, and turnaround over a dozen tech-enabled businesses with clients in over 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

He has specific strengths in Strategic Thinking domain of CliftonStrengths, studied Software Engineering at the University of Dodoma in Tanzania, and Business & AI from Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. He is the recipient of the 2020 Global Entrepreneur of the Year award, a 2022 Emerging Technologies Expert for the AU, a 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumnus, and the 2025 ICT for Social Impact Award in Bridging the Digital Divide.
