Leading Self
PILLAR
If you are a senior practitioner planning a transformation right now
this is for you
The reason transformations stall is rarely the strategy. It is what you are carrying while you try to lead it.
This isn't a leadership theory course. It is built for the practitioner who has been given a transformation mandate and is figuring it out as they go. Five to fifteen years in. Senior enough to have real influence. Junior enough to still be doing the work.
It is also for the leader who has noticed something most leadership content does not name out loud and is ready to do something about it.
Six things you'll be able to do when this is over:
Not by accident. Not because you read the right book. Because you did the work.
01
Recognise your own pattern under pressure.
Specifically. With the trigger named, the default reaction named, and the cost it produces named. Not "I sometimes get stressed." The actual pattern, in your own words, that you can describe to a peer in two sentences.
02
Replace the pattern with something deliberate.
Not a self-help affirmation. A specific protocol a calendar trigger, a pause, an environmental change, a pre-written response that you can run in real time when the old pattern wants to take over. Tested in your actual work, not on a worksheet.
03
Name the things you've been carrying.
Most senior leaders have a layer underneath the leadership performance old shame, old proof, old responsibility you never put down. This Journey gives you the literacy to name yours by pattern: the seat you don't think you've earned, the failure you should have seen, the cost of the people you've led. Naming is the first move.
04
Use vulnerability as strategy, not as performance.
There is a way to be visibly uncertain that builds trust, and a way that erodes it. By the end of this, you'll know the difference and you'll know when to be open and when to be grounded. Both directions, used on purpose.
05
Build the three things that keep you sustainable.
Mindset work that you actually do. A trigger response you actually run. An accountability partner you actually tell the truth to. Three legs of the stool. The Journey doesn't end when you can describe them. It ends when all three are operating in your week.
06
Use AI as a thinking partner, not a crutch.
Six weekly Digital Edge exercises with Claude. You learn to use AI to surface blind spots, pressure-test your thinking, and audit your own work while staying critical about which AI insights actually hold and which don't. Judgement, not adoption.
Two courses. Two halves.
One arc.
The first three weeks build the operating system. The second three weeks build what makes it last. They are designed to land in this order the second course only works because the first one set the floor.
WEEKS 1 - 3 · COURSE 1
Leading Under Pressure
The Transformation Leader's Operating System.
You learn what your default reaction is when transformation pressure hits, and you build a deliberate alternative. Calendar triggers. Pause-and-respond protocols. Environmental design.
CAPSTONE — MINDSET ACTION PLAN, WEEK 3
WEEKS 4 - 6 · COURSE 2
Resilience Under Sustained Pressure
The courage to heal.
The Mindset Action Plan only holds if you do the work underneath it. This is where you name what you've been carrying, map your trigger, and choose the accountability partner who keeps you honest after the room closes.
CAPSTONE — RESILIENCE ACTION PLAN, WEEK 6
This is hands-on.
Not lecture-and-listen.
Six weeks. Each week roughly the same rhythm.
Course content
On-demand video and reading. Roughly 60 minutes per week. Watch when it works for you.
Live partner session
90 minutes per week with your Transformation Partner and a small group of fellow practitioners. Where the real learning happens. Show up. Be honest.
Weekly practical
One short applied exercise per week something you actually do in your work, not a worksheet. Six total over the Journey.
Digital Edge AI prompt
One AI-assisted reflection prompt per week. Pressure-test your thinking with Claude. About 20 minutes.
Podcast + check-in
One Shameless Tuesdays episode per week (about 20 minutes), followed by three short questions in the app to confirm you listened.
Peer-to-peer
Optional but encouraged. A short call with a peer from your cohort to share where you are. Many people find this is where the work actually integrates.
Two gates.
Both have to open.
Most online programmes let you finish by clicking through. This one asks for both engagement (you actually showed up to the work) and competence (you can demonstrate what you've learned).
GATE ONE
Engagement
You participate across the six weeks live sessions, podcast check-ins, weekly practicals, peer-to-peer, the webinar.
This proves you did the work.
GATE TWO
Demonstration
You complete two action plans (Week 3 and Week 6), two case studies (one per course), and a portfolio of six practicals marked by your Transformation Partner against a clear rubric.
This proves you can do the work.
Both gates have to open for you to complete the journey. We tell you that up front so you know what you're signing up for
Real artefacts.
Yours to keep.
This isn't a certificate-and-forget Journey. You walk out with deliverable work that lives in your week long after the cohort closes.
FINALISED WEEK 3
Your Mindset Action Plan
A short document you read every Monday morning. Names your default pattern, the trigger that fires it, and the protocol you run instead.
FINALISED WEEK 6
Your Resilience Action Plan
Five inputs: what you're carrying, where it lives, your Trigger Map, your accountability partner with named cadence, and one sentence about the leader you're becoming.
SIX PIECES OF APPLIED WORK
Your Practicals Portfolio
One short applied exercise per week, evidencing how you tested course concepts in real situations. Useful as a record of what shifted, and as evidence for any future career or development conversation.
GENERATED AT COMPLETION
Your Learner Evidence Report
A single document your Transformation Partner generates at the end. Captures everything you submitted, the marking against the rubric, the moderator's review, and your final outcome. Yours. Shareable with a manager, recruiter, or future programme.
And though we treat this as the smallest of these things a certificate of completion confirming you've done this work to a defined standard.
So you can decide if it's
actually for you.
We are direct about what this Journey is not, because most leadership programmes are too vague to make a clean decision against.
This is not a leadership theory course. We don't lecture you on Bass and Avolio. You can read the books yourself.
This is not therapy. It is structured leadership development. If shame work or trauma processing is the depth you need, we will gently point you toward someone properly trained for that.
This is not for someone looking for affirmation. The Journey is honest. It will name patterns most leadership content avoids.
This is not a passive watch-and-go programme. If you want to scroll videos and call it development, this isn't it.
This is not for someone who hasn't yet led a transformation. The Journey assumes you're already in it. If you're earlier in your career, our Digital Starter Journey is built for you.

IF THIS LANDS
Six weeks. Two action plans.
One quietly different leader at the end.
This is the Journey for the practitioner who has noticed that the cost of leading transformations is starting to show up somewhere — in the body, in the home, in the second-guessing. And who is ready to do the actual work.
If that's you, we will see you in the room.
